ABSTRACT: The objective of this report is to present the final results of the professional practice II and III of
Social Work at the Universidade Antioquia, carried out in the Women and Gender Justice program
of the Corporación Penca de Sábila during April and December 2021. Specifically, a
characterization of violence against rural and peasant women in the north of Valle de Aburrá was
carried out, which made it possible to promote individual and collective spaces for reflection,
training, recognition and visibility of violence against rural and peasant women in Copacabana,
Girardota and Barbosa, contributing to the enforceability of rights and advocacy in public
institutions responsible for ensuring a life free of violence for women. Thus, the process was
supported at a theoretical level in the socio-critical paradigm, feminist theory and the gender and
human rights approach, and methodologically in the integrated method of Social Work, preventive
intervention, the critical action model and the socio-educational strategy.
