RESUMEN: La presente investigación buscó identificar y reconocer los modos en que se reconfiguran los comportamientos ligados a la exhibición de la intimidad en algunos usuarios de Instagram. Se describió el uso de los formatos de publicación en la performatividad de lo íntimo. Las variables de intimidad, comportamiento, exhibición y performatividad en el uso de la plataforma fueron analizadas por medio de una etnografía virtual, revisión bibliográfica, y entrevistas a cinco usuarios de la red social, con un carácter cualitativo y alcance descriptivo. Se identificaron temáticas y comportamientos con tendencias hacia la exhibición del cuerpo, exposición de su identidad de género y proyección de las emociones, a través de los formatos de Close Friends, historias públicas y publicaciones en el perfil. Por el contrario, se reconocieron formas de actuar donde la información está al margen de la vida íntima y privada de la persona, quien es consciente de la posibilidad de quedar al descubierto ante los miles de ojos incógnitos que habitan en la red.ABSTRACT: This research sought to identify and recognize the ways in which behaviors associated to the exhibition of intimacy are reconfigured in some Instagram users, and the use of publication formats in the performativity of the intimate was described. The variables of: intimacy, behavior, exhibition and performativity in the use of the platform were analyzed through a virtual ethnography, literature review, and interviews with five users of the social network, with a qualitative character and descriptive scope. Themes and behaviors were identified with trends to exhibit the body, manifest emotions and freely explore sexuality, through the formats of Close Friends, public stories and publications in the profile. On the other hand, it was recognized ways of acting where the person keeps the information about their intimate and private life out of sight, being aware that it may be exposed to the thousands of unknowing eyes that live in the network.
