| dc.description | RESUMEN: El artículo ofrece una visión panorámica acerca de la historia y el estado en el que se encuentra la investigación en psicoterapia con niños. Este campo ha estado históricamente a la sombra de la investigación en psicoterapia con adultos. Por consiguiente, la revisión que se presenta tiene la intención de realizar un aporte a la escasa información existente en idioma castellano, acerca de la evolución de la investigación en terapia infantil. Se exponen los antecedentes históricos y contextuales así como la exploración de futuros horizontes de investigación . En general, llama la atención el amplio desarrollo del estudio científico en psicoterapia con niños en Europa y Estados Unidos, frente a la baja producción al respecto en Latinoamérica. | |
| dc.description | ABSTRACT: The paper offers a panoramic view about the history and state of research in psychotherapy with children. This field has been historically in the shadow of research in psychotherapy with adults. Therefore, the proposed review has the intention of contributing to the scarse available information in Spanish language, on the evolution of child psychotherapy research. Historical and contextual antecedents are included, as well as exploration of future paths of research within this field. In general, a broad development of research in child psychotherapy is present in Europe and the United States, contrasting the low production in this matter in Latin America. | |
