| dc.description | RESUMEN: Esta investigación tiene como objetivo describir los estados emocionales de los cuidadores principales de personas con Síndrome de Down, asimismo, indagar por las emociones previas a la situación de cuidado y conocer las alteraciones que generan en el desarrollo de las actividades.
La población objeto de estudio es una muestra de 10 cuidadores de personas con Síndrome de Down, que fueron seleccionadas desde la base de datos de discapacidad de la Secretaría de Salud del municipio de Puerto Berrío – Antioquia.
Para cumplir los anteriores objetivos se consideraron los instrumentos: Escala de carga del Cuidador de Zarit y entrevista semiestructurada, de los cuales se obtuvieron como resultado que el 20% de la población tiene ausencia de sobrecarga, el 35% una sobrecarga ligera y 45% sobrecarga intensa, estos dos últimos generaron afectaciones principalmente en la salud psíquica de los cuidadores. | |
| dc.description | ABSTRACT: This research has as objective describe the emotional states of the principal caregivers of people with down’s syndrome, likewise, inquire about previous emotions to the care situation and know the alterations that generate in the development of activities.
The population object of study it’s a sample of 10 caregivers of people with down’s symdrome, which were selected from the database of disability of the health secretariat of the municipality of Puerto Berrío- Antioquia.
To meet the above objectives were considered the instruments: caregiver overload scale from Zarit and semi-structured interview, of which it was obtained that 20% of the population has absence of overload, the 30% a slight overload and 45% intense overload, these last two caused affectations mostly in the psychic health of the caregivers. | |
