ABSTRACT: The presentation of this degree thesis aims to make known to the readers of the health sector and specifically to the low complexity IPS or those that provide services related to the Comprehensive Routes of Care for the Promotion and Maintenance of Health (RPMS), the benefit of having control of the data that is produced in the care that is carried out in the provision of health services. These institutions can take an important step in the evolution of their commercial or proprietary information systems, with this they would be able to anticipate the findings or scenarios that Benefit Plan Admirers Companies (EAPB) show, that is, historically the latter entities are the only ones that have the technological and logistical capacity to make use of the data provided by the IPS; therefore, they are the only ones who have total control of the information and therefore use it to their advantage to agree on estimates and indicators that in most cases are difficult to achieve without the minimum necessary tools. The aforementioned gives the IPS of the first level of attention glosses for non-compliance with goals agreed in capitation contracts, which translates into reimbursement of money by the IPS to the EPS and ultimately to the detriment of the service providers of Health.
