Su formación artística la recibió en la Escuela de Pintura, Dibujo y Escultura del Instituto de Bellas Artes. Influenciado por el maestro Humberto Chávez reconoció los aportes artísticos que le eran dados por los pintores de la historia universal , así como por otros artistas locales como Pedro Nel Gómez y Carlos Correa. | dc.description | ABSTRACT: Rafael Sánz Moreno, painter and teacher, was one of the last members of the Sáenz Moreno family, and outstanding 19 th Century tradicional family from eastern Antioquia . His artistic formation took place of the Painting, Drawing and Sculpture School of the Institute of Fine Arts. He received the influence of master Humberto Chávez, and recognized the artistic contribution of painters from world history, as well as from such other local artists as Pedro Nel Gómez and Carlos Correa . More than a painter, he was an outstanding artist and educator. | |
