Hoy en día los problemas osteomusculares en el sector industrial son causados por los diferentes procesos manuales que desarrollan las organizaciones dentro de sus actividades. Estos problemas representan la mayor afectación a nivel laboral, por lo cual se realizó esta investigación para estudiar los posibles factores de riesgo que han conllevado a la generación de enfermedades en el sector. El peligro biomecánico es uno de los principales factores que se desencadena por acciones y movimientos del cuerpo, el manipular cargas, realizar posturas prolongadas y exponerse a tiempos largos donde el cuerpo requiera realizar diversas posturas forzadas se convierten en factores que conllevan a sufrir de diversas enfermedades osteomusculares. Para solucionar esta problemática, se integra un estudio sociodemográfico que permita conocer características principales de la población y con ello hacer seguimiento a estas posibles afecciones que se puedan desarrollar debido a la exposición y a los agentes externos que también se puedan evidenciar en el ambiente laboral.
