En el presente artículo se reconoce la importancia de la transposición didáctica, entendida como el mecanismo por el cual el maestro es el intermedio entre el conocimiento científico y lo transforma para llevarlo a cabo en las aulas de clases, en este caso enfocado en la enseñanza de la historia cómo disciplina integrada de las Ciencias Sociales, permitiendo al lector comprender como ha sido el proceso de enseñanza de la historia en las instituciones educativas de Cartagena de Indias en el tiempo reciente.This article recognizes the importance of didactic transposition, understood as the mechanism by which the teacher is the intermediate between scientific knowledge and transforms it to carry it out in the classroom, in this case focused on the teaching of history as an integrated discipline of Social Sciences, allowing the reader to understand how the history teaching process has been in the educational institutions of Cartagena de Indias in recent times.
