dc.description | The present study will explore different factors that may influence the loss of indigenous languages and how this may influence their identity and customs.. This project is a systematic review monograph that follows a qualitative research approach to analyze thesis projects, governmental policies, books, and articles. To conduct this work, this project will follow the stages proposed by Diodato (2012): selection and delimitation of the topic, collection of information, data analysis, and organization of the monograph, and writing and selection of the language of the monograph. The expected results of this document will be to contribute to expanding regional, national, and international information about how the identity of an indigenous community can be affected by the extinction of its native language.
