Express Luck Colombia S.A.S. is a subordinate company from Express Luck general headquartes in China. In Colombia, it imports the materials from headquarters and its responsible for assembling and trading Caixun TVs. Our MAF Challenge was to examine company’s processes in search of improvement options, in a company in which its brand’s strategy from their headquarters is low-costs. In this way, we organized a company flowchart with all their processes in a value chain and evaluated one by one looking to find the best upgrade options. This with the purpose to achieve the brand to have a greater reception in Colombians market, in which it has jumped in a few years ago, and where its shareholders are willing to start receiving economic profits. We achieve to identify diferent cost optimization alternatives in different parts of the process, which were presented to the administration. With this we foud that by doing a rigorous job, you will always find opportunities to improve the profitability of a company.
