| dc.description | Mediante la adaptaci?n del test desarrollado por Schau (1995) SATS (Survey of Attitudes Toward Statistics, Test de actitudes hacia la Estad?stica), este trabajo muestra los resultados de la investigaci?n y seguimiento realizado a los estudiantes de los programas de Historia, Sociolog?a y Ciencias Pol?ticas de la Facultad de Ciencias Humanas y Artes de la Universidad del Tolima, durante los ?ltimos cuatro semestres, acerca de las actitudes hacia la Estad?stica luego de haber recibido un curso b?sico de Estad?stica o de M?todos Cuantitativos, para determinar qu? aspectos del orden afectivo caracterizan a 121 estudiantes de dichos programas. El modelo validado por Schau (2004), describe cuatro dimensiones (Afectivo, Cognitivo, Valor y Dificultad). Una vez validado en la poblaci?n objeto de estudio, se encontr? un alfa de Cronbach de 0.76 mostrando consistencia entre las preguntas realizadas. Los resultados indican una alta correlaci?n de las dimensiones Dificultad y de Valor, constituy?ndose como lo afirma Batanero (2002) retos en la formaci?n de una cultura Estad?stica. | |
| dc.description | By adapting the test developed by (Schau, 1995) SATS (Survey of Attitudes Toward Statistics), this document shows the results of research and monitoring carried out to students programs history, sociology and Political Science Faculty of Humanities and arts at the University of Tolima, over the last four semesters, about attitudes toward statistics after receiving a basic course in statistics or quantitative methods to determine which aspects of the affective 121 students characterize such programs, the model validated by Schau (2004) describes four dimensions (Affect, Cognitive Value and Difficulty.) once validated in the population under study, we found a Cronbach's alpha of 0.76 showing consistency between the questions asked. Results indicate a high correlation of Difficulty and Value dimensions, constituting as stated Batanero (2002) challenges in creating a culture Statistics.
