| dc.description | La presente propuesta de intervenci?n nace de un proceso investigativo que tuvo como
objetivo fortalecer la compresi?n lectora en los estudiantes del grado quinto de primaria
del colegio George Williams mediante la lectura de cuentos de g?nero narrativo y la
aplicaci?n de estrategias cognitivas de forma creativa como herramienta facilitadora de
los procesos de ense?anza-aprendizaje.
La propuesta de intervenci?n sigui? un proceso de Investigaci?n Acci?n, como lo afirma,
(Gonz?les, 2004) Elliot (1993) quien destaca que ?El objetivo fundamental de la
investigaci?n-acci?n es mejorar la pr?ctica en lugar de generar conocimientos; la
producci?n y uso de conocimientos est? subordinado y condicionado a este objeto de
mejora?. Por otra parte Rodr?guez (1991:19) define la Investigaci?n Acci?n como un
?Modelo de investigaci?n dentro del paradigma cualitativo que observa y estudia,
reflexiva y participativamente, una situaci?n para mejorarla?. (P?g. 376).
Los cambios sociales que requiere el sistema educativo actual, no se debe limitar a
transmitir conocimientos, por lo tanto, es fundamental incorporar la vertiente investigativa
a nuestra profesi?n para solucionar en parte las deficiencias de nuestra labor que d?a a
d?a es m?s rutinaria, poco motivadora y nada interesante.
La informaci?n recolectada, permiti? identificar y generar procesos reflexivos ante los
problemas observados en la comprensi?n lectora y sirvi? para el dise?o y la aplicaci?n
de talleres pedag?gicos basados en estrategias cognitivas de la lectura. Al t?rmino de
esta propuesta de investigaci?n se evidencio como los estudiantes, a trav?s del uso de
estrategias cognitivas de la lectura, obtienen importantes beneficios en su comprensi?n
lectora. | |
| dc.description | The present proposal of intervention is born of an investigative process that had as
objective to strengthen the reading compression in the students of the fifth degree of the
school George Williams by the application of cognitive strategies with the support of the
short stories. This intention arises from the need to improve the level of reading
comprehension by linking short stories as a facilitating tool for teaching and learning
processes.
The intervention proposal followed a process of Action Research, as Elliot (1993: 67)
states: "The fundamental objective of action research is to improve practice rather than
generate knowledge." And Rodr?guez (1991: 19) who defines I-A as a "Research model
within the qualitative paradigm that observes and studies, reflectively and participatory, a
situation to improve it"
The social changes required by the current educational system, should not be limited to
transmit knowledge, therefore, it is essential to incorporate the research side of our
profession to solve in part the shortcomings of our day to day work is more routine, less
motivating And nothing interesting.
The information collected allowed us to identify and generate reflexive processes in
relation to the problems observed in reading comprehension and served for the design
and application of pedagogical workshops based on cognitive strategies of reading. At
the end of this research proposal, it was evident how students, through the use of
cognitive strategies of reading, obtain important benefits in their reading comprehension
and textual analysis.
