95 P?ginasRecurso Electr?nicoEl presente trabajo de grado es una investigaci?n realizada en las instituciones educativas p?blicas del departamento del Tolima, con el fin de adelantar un diagn?stico sobre la cobertura e incorporaci?n de las Tecnolog?as de la Informaci?n y la Comunicaci?n (TIC) en el sector educativo, desde de punto de vista del profesorado. Para alcanzar este fin se ha planeado una investigaci?n de tipo descriptivo y con un enfoque cuantitativo. Adem?s, se implement? un muestreo por conglomerado y la muestra se calcul? mediante m?todos estad?sticos, el instrumento para recolectar la informaci?n fue un cuestionario con preguntas cerradas el cual se aplic? a 190 profesores de las instituciones educativas de los municipios donde estos laboran. Los resultados muestran que desde la perspectiva del profesorado la cobertura en TIC en el Tolima es insuficiente, los docentes est?n incorporando estas tecnolog?as en sus labores diarias con cierta dificultad. Adem?s se evidencio que la mayor?a de los docentes del departamento han participado en alg?n tipo de formaci?n en TIC.ABSCTRACT. This present work of grade, is a research realized in in public educational institutions of department of Tolima in order to advance a diagnostic about coverage and incorporation of ICTs information communication technologies in educational sector, from the point of view of teaching staff. To achieve this objective has been planned a research of descriptive type with quantitative focus. So was implemented a sampling by conglomerate and the sample was calculated by statistical methods, the method to collect the information was a questionnaire with close questions which was applied to 190 teachers of educational institutions where they work. The outcomes shows from the perspective of teachers staff, the coverage of in ICTs in Tolima is not enough, the teacher are incorporating this technologies in their daily work with some difficulty.
