Durante el proceso se observaron dificultades en el ?rea de Lengua Castellana, las cuales se pudieron evidenciar en la imposici?n de lecturas a los estudiantes y la falta de motivaci?n al momento de leer.
Entre los instrumentos utilizados para cumplir el objetivo propuesto, se emplearon la entrevista y el diario de campo. Al evidenciar la falta de motivaci?n en el proceso lector de los estudiantes, se hizo necesario realizar una intervenci?n pedag?gica que busc? establecer pr?cticas que motivaron a la lectura, conllevando a una interpretaci?n aut?noma, por lo cual se brindaron diferentes actividades encaminadas a motivar la lectura a trav?s del g?nero dram?tico como una herramienta para fomentar la lectura en el aula.
Se dise?? y aplic? una propuesta pedag?gica basada en el g?nero dram?tico configurada con (10) diez actividades did?cticas de motivaci?n a la lectura para los ni?os y ni?as obteniendo como resultado mayor motivaci?n al leer. The educational proposal ?The Drama as a teaching tool in reading motivation in third grade children of the technical school Benjamin Herrera I.E.D? is aimed at awakening the pleasure and enjoyment of reading. During the process some difficulties were observed in the area of Spanish Language, which could be evidenced by the imposition of readings to the students and the lack of reading habits. Interviews and field diaries were used as tools to reach this goal. When finding the evidence of lack of motivation in the reading process of students, it became necessary to make an educational intervention in order to establish routines that help students increase their motivation towards reading; all this, in order to bring an autonomous interpretation. So, different activities aimed at promoting reading through Drama genre as a tool to encourage reading in the classroom were implemented. It was designed and administered an educational proposal based on the Drama genre. It was composed by ten (10) reading motivating activities for children resulting in greater motivation to read.
