165 p. Recurso Electr?nico El punk nace aproximadamente en la d?cada del 70 en pa?ses como Estados Unidos e
Inglaterra, surge como una manifestaci?n musical y cultural del mundo juvenil que dio
origen a una escena musical importante y reconocida a nivel internacional.
Acad?micamente se ha estudiado el punk desde diversas disciplinas partiendo de
categor?as de an?lisis espec?ficas, que han permitido comprender desde diferentes
enfoques las din?micas sociales y culturales que se presentan en dicha cultura.
El punk, ha logrado instituir una serie de pr?cticas culturales y de pautas identitarias
propias, que le han otorgado reconocimiento a nivel mundial. As? mismo, el punk como
cultura juvenil y como subg?nero musical derivado del rock, logr? llegar a pa?ses de
centro y Suram?rica, entre ellos Colombia, donde grupos de j?venes reapropiaron la
cultura y adaptaron sus pr?cticas al contexto en el que viven.
En virtud de ello se ha optado por conocer m?s a fondo sobre dicha cultura y sus
din?micas. Es as? que nace la inquietud por indagar c?mo lleg? el punk a la ciudad de
Ibagu?, que pr?cticas se han desarrollado en la escena local y cu?les han sido sus
din?micas de construcci?n identitaria.
A raz?n de lo anterior, el presente trabajo de investigaci?n se justifica en la medida en
que la historia del punk ibaguere?o y las din?micas culturales que se han generado
entre las y los j?venes no se han explorado hasta el momento.
Palabras clave: cultura juvenil, pr?cticas culturales, identidad, punk, escena. Punk was born in the 70s in countries such as the United States and England; it
emerged as a musical and cultural manifestation of the youth world that gave rise to an
important and internationally recognized music scene. Academically, punk has been
studied from different disciplines starting from specific analysis categories, which have
allowed understanding from different approaches the social and cultural dynamics that
are presented in said culture.
The punk, has managed to institute a series of cultural practices and own identity
guidelines, which have granted worldwide recognition. Likewise, punk as a youth culture
and as a musical subgenre derived from rock, managed to reach countries in Central
and South America, including Colombia, where youth groups reappropriated the culture
and adapted their practices to the context in which they live.
In virtue of this, we have chosen to know more about this culture and its dynamics.
Thus, the concern arises to investigate how punk came to the city of Ibague, what
practices have been developed in the local scene and what have been its dynamics of
identity construction.
In view of the above, the present research work is justified to the extent that the history
of punk ibaguere?o and cultural dynamics that have been generated between young
people and have not been explored so far.
