69 p. Recurso Electr?nico El objetivo principal de esta investigaci?n fue identificar la influencia que se present? en
los estudiantes del grado sexto de la Instituci?n Educativa Jorge Eliecer Gait?n del
municipio de Ibagu? (Tolima) frente al periodo de transici?n a secundaria en la formaci?n
de competencias ciudadanas. El enfoque que se utilizo fue mixto, con un tipo de estudio
descriptivo y un dise?o de estudio transversal, se utiliz? una muestra poblacional del
sesenta y dos por ciento a quien se le aplic? una encuesta; tambi?n se analizaron
algunos casos que se presentaron en el servicio de orientaci?n escolar de los estudiantes
del grado sexto durante este a?o, donde se identific? algunos de los diferentes cambios
acad?micos y convivenciales que se presentan en la transici?n a la secundaria,
resaltando que los estudiantes est?n en plena etapa de adolescencia y en un periodo de
adaptaci?n escolar.
En conclusi?n, se evidencia el reto que enfrenta la comunidad educativa en el
fortalecimiento de la formaci?n de competencias ciudadanas en estudiantes del grado
sexto a quien se le sugiere implementar programas pedag?gicos permanentes y la
colaboraci?n de toda la comunidad educativa para lograr una convivencia en paz. The main objective of this research was to identify the influence that was presented in the
students of the sixth grade of the Educational Institution Jorge Eliecer Gait?n of the
municipality of Ibagu? (Tolima) in front of the period of transition to secondary in the
formation of citizen competences. The approach used was mixed, with a type of
descriptive study and a cross-sectional study design, a population sample of sixty-two
percent was used to whom a survey was applied; We also analyzed some cases that
were presented in the school guidance service of the sixth grade students during this
year, where some of the different academic and convivial changes that occurred in the
transition to secondary school were identified, emphasizing that the students are In the
middle of adolescence and in a period of school adaptation.
In conclusion, it is evident the challenge facing the educational community in
strengthening the training of citizenship competences in students of the sixth grade who
are advised to implement permanent pedagogical programs and the collaboration of the
entire educational community to achieve a peaceful coexistence.
