ABSTRACT. This study evaluated the distribution of staining solution on the ON and FLCN nerves, using SAL and for the SN was employed the RL as neurolocalization techniques. Fifteen dogs cadavers were randomly assigned to one of three experimental groups according to the volume of staining to infiltrate: 0.1, 0.2 or 0.3 ml / kg. The NS was assessed in the femoral triangle, the ON was addressed between the facial planes of the pectinate muscle and adductor muscle and FLCN using the tip of the transverse apophysis of L7 as SAL. It was consider as an effective blockage the staining of ? 2 cm in length of the studied nerves. The used techniques were effective to produce an adequate distribution of the staining solution on 100% of the studied nerves when used 0.2 (ON) or 0.3 (SN and FCLN) ml / kg staining. Additionally, the effectiveness of these techniques was evaluated in five live dogs experimentally for SN and FLCN by the dermatomes sensitivity test corresponding to these nerves. The in vivo blockade was effective in 80% and 100% of cases for the SN and FLCN respectively. The techniques used in this study were effective to produce an adequate distribution of staining in all the studied nerves in cadavers and a suitable blockage of the SN and the FLCN on live dogs. These techniques potentially could be useful in a clinical scenario for the anesthetic blockage of the studied nerves. INTRODUCCI?N 14
