The present investigation intends to analyze the benefits that the Canto Coral contributes
to the development of the auditory sensitivity from the music to the child.
The choir singing is an artistic manifestation that allows the child to sing freely and have
the same degree of participation in the activities within the classroom, it develops auditory
sensibility, that is, the child needs to rediscover the sound world that comes from his
environment, to reach this point, you need to develop the levels of attention and listening.
The research was implemented in the third grade of primary school with the objective of
observing and detailing the behavior in the music class, this analysis helped with the
implementation of the Choral Singing program within the research.
A methodological route was carried out according to Eliot, where an action research
proposal aimed at the transformation of everyday reality was pointed out, understood as
that reality that the teacher lives day by day, followed in a process of factor categorization,
planning, action and reflection, initially a non-participant observation was made, in order
to detect analyze, investigate, ask what happened in the classroom, in this way a
diagnosis is made that will allow to elaborate alternatives to solve the problem from the
artistic education.
In this way, the musical pedagogy was based on the pedagogical guidelines
recommended by the MEN, using musical methods such as Suzuki philosophy, the
Kodaly method and the evolutionary stages of Bernald Lievegoed.
