Plan Parcial de Renovación Urbana "Paseo del Castillo"

Abstract

The Urban Renewal Plan "Paseo del Castillo" is a theoretical-practical exercise in which a master plan for urban renewal is formulated in the center of Bogotá, within the framework of the Land Use Plan - POT adopted by Decree 555 of 2021. Serving as a Technical Support Document, this project makes an accurate diagnosis of the territorial conditions of 6 blocks of the Santa Fe neighborhood, in the center of Bogotá, and proposes an urban revitalization plan using the guidelines dictated by the aforementioned urban law. In addition to using the current urban regulations, the project evaluates the economic and financial viability of the intervention, identifies normative contradictions and proposes improvement alternatives for the planning scheme on Colombia's capital city.
