dc.descriptionFor this investigation the motor communication networks between players of the Uruguayan football team, within the scope of the matches played in the South African World Cup of 2010, were analyzed. Ball passing between the players was taken as the element of communication and from there all the network mappings (graphically represented) were made. The myriad of lines, determined by the passes between players, is what we refer to as motor communication network. This form of communication is defined by Parlebas (2001, p. 81) as the "essential and direct cooperative motor interaction". A coding manual was created for this study, which describes the actions that are possible to accomplish in football; and, through observational methodology, all seven matches played by the team in the world cup were analyzed. The results show that the motor communication networks between the players of the Uruguayan football team were integrated, dense, and lacking any structural gaps.en-US
dc.descriptionEn esta investigación se analizaron las redes de comunicación motriz entre los jugadores de la selección uruguaya de fútbol en el marco del torneo mundial disputado en Sudáfrica en el año 2010. Se tomó el pase entre los jugadores como elemento de comunicación y a partir de allí se realizaron los mapeos (representación gráfica) de las redes. El entramado de líneas determinado por los pases entre los jugadores es lo que denominamos como redes de comunicación motriz. Dicha comunicación es definida por Parlebas (2001, p. 81), como “interacción motriz de cooperación, esencial y directa”. Para el estudio, se creó un manual de codificación, el cual describe las acciones que son posibles de realizar en el fútbol y por medio de la metodología observacional se analizaron los siete partidos de la selección en el mundial. Los resultados obtenidos manifiestan que las redes de comunicación motriz entre los jugadores de la selección uruguaya se presentaron densas e integradas con ausencia de agujeros estructurales.es-ES
