In this paper we make an inquiry about the different discourses in relation to the body underlying the Physical Education sillabi in the Basic Cycle of Secondary Education (1993-2006). There are more continuities than breaks in the discourses on the body, primarily focused on knowledge from the medical field. In the early twenty-first century, Physical Education needs to be validated not from their disciplinary logic but from a host of moral and instrumental accessories that turn it into a technology. A physicological discourse underlies all the curriculum; in this sense, there is not much difference from the others subjects in the curriculum.En este trabajo se realiza una indagación sobre los diferentes discursos en relación al cuerpo que subyacen a los programas de Educación Física en el Ciclo Básico de Educación Secundaria (1993-2006). Existen más continuidades que rupturas en los discursos sobre el cuerpo, centrados en saberes provenientes fundamentalmente del campo médico. A inicios del siglo xxI, la Educación Física necesita ser validada no desde su lógica disciplinar sino a partir de una infinidad de accesorios morales e instrumentales que la convierten en una tecnología. Atraviesa a los programas una matriz curricular de orden psicológico; en este sentido, no se distancia mucho de las restantes asignaturas del curriculum.
