En Colombia el Ministerio de Educación Nacional MEN (2019), considera que los Objetivos del Desarrollo Sostenible son 17 acuerdos establecidos por la ONU, siendo el cuarto el que se enfoca en la promoción de una educación de calidad inclusiva. Para el logro del mismo se pone de manifiesto 10 metas que han sido objeto de análisis para la elaboración del CONPES 3918 de 2018. La finalidad de este artículo es analizar los objetivos, acuerdos y metas que promueven la educación para la sostenibilidad en el contexto rural colombiano y de este modo poder dar aportes a la sociedad. La metodología está centrada en el enfoque cualitativo con un análisis documental de tipo reflexivo. Para que se pueda lograr una educación sostenible en el contexto rural se debe primero diagnosticar desde la comunidad los principales problemas y posibles soluciones que desde un pensamiento sociocrítico contribuyen significativamente a la educación   Abstract In Colombia, the Ministry of National Education MEN (2019), considers that the Sustainable Development Goals are 17 agreements established by the UN, of which the fourth one is focused on the promotion of inclusive quality education. For the achievement of this aim, 10 goals are highlighted, which have been the object of analysis for the elaboration of CONPES 3918 of 2018. The purpose of this article is to analyze the objectives, agreements and goals that promote education for sustainability in the Colombian rural context and thus be able to give contributions to society. The methodology is centered on the qualitative approach with a reflexive documentary analysis. In order to achieve sustainable education in the rural context, the main problems and their possible solutions that contribute significantly to education from a socio-critical point of view must first be diagnosed from the community.
