El presente trabajo de investigación tiene como objetivo principal reconocer las prácticas de gestión del conocimiento que potencian el desarrollo profesional docente del instructor SENA. Para el desarrollo del estudio se empleó el método narrativo biográfico, por tanto, se invitó a una muestra de personas que tuviesen 10 años o más de antigüedad en la Entidad, seleccionados entre funcionarios vinculados directamente y contratistas, con el fin de recoger las voces de quienes participan directamente en el ejercicio de la formación profesional. Los resultados de la investigación permitieron identificar que las acciones desarrolladas a través de las Redes de Conocimiento fortalecen el ejercicio de la función docente de los instructores en el SENA; sin embargo, es importante no desconocer la historia, los tiempos necesarios para construcción del conocimiento, transferencia y almacenamiento del mismo; además del capital humano que se vuelve “golondrina”, llega y rápidamente se va   Abstract The main objective of this research work is to recognize knowledge management practices that enhance the professional teaching development of the SENA instructor. For the development of the study, the biographical narrative method was used; therefore, a sample of senior people who worked 10 years or more within the entity, selected from directly linked officials and contractors, were invited to collect the voices of those directly involved in the exercise of professional training. The results of the investigation allowed to identify that the actions developed through the Knowledge Networks strengthen the exercise of the teaching function of the instructors in the SENA. However, it is important not to ignore the history, the time needed to build knowledge, as well as to transfer and store it; in addition to the staff that arrives and quickly leaves.
