The aim of this paper is to do research on salt, reviewing the current literature in the subject, as a material using additive manufacturing techniques and craft for design products in order to theorize their use in the context of Chile specifically in the Atacama Desert in Chile since is the driest desert in the world. Finally review and research if the current works in the subject have elements of circular economy and redistributed manufacturing schemes concepts.
