The purpose of the article is to assess the importance of the development of Creative Thinking in the classroom environment. In that sense, several opinions are mentioned that corroborate the enrichment of knowledge regarding the subject. In addition, certain strategies are expressed that favour its development. Finally, the relevance of the methodology used by the teacher for the development of Creative Thinking is highlighted.El propósito del artículo es valorar la importancia del desarrollo del Pensamiento Creativo en el entorno áulico. En ese sentido, se menciona diversas opiniones que corroboran el enriquecimiento de conocimientos respecto al tema. Además, se expresan ciertas estrategias que favorecen el desarrollo del mismo. Finalmente, se destaca la pertinencia de la metodología empleada por el docente para el desarrollo del Pensamiento Creativo.
