ESTRATEGIAS DE AFRONTAMIENTO A FAMILIARES DE USUARIOS EN PROCESO DE REHABILITACIÓN, CETAD “ESCUELA DE VIDA”, SANTO DOMINGO DE LOS TSÁCHILAS.

Abstract

El presente trabajo de investigación tuvo como objetivo aplicar estrategias de afrontamiento a familiares de usuarios en proceso de rehabilitación, CETAD “Escuela de Vida” Santo Domingo de los Tsáchilas.

The objective of this research work was to apply coping strategies to relatives of users in the process of rehabilitation, CETAD "Escuela de Vida" Santo Domingo de los Tsáchilas. It is qualitative research with a phenomenological design of descriptive scope, where human experiences on social phenomena are exposed from the perspective of their actors. The selected sample consisted of 30 subjects from 25 to 50 years old. Qualitative techniques such as semi-structured interview were used and instruments such as the Family Coping Questionnaire, Family Coping Perception Test, the family APGAR and the Family Shield were applied. The results obtained from the implementation of coping strategies were to achieve a moderate family functionality of the participants and carry out an adequate participation process in the rehabilitation of their family member. Finally, it is concluded that it is important to work in the family to support the treatment process
