ABUSO DE LOS DISPOSITIVOS ELECTRÓNICOS Y SU INFLUENCIA EN EL DESARROLLO DE LAS FUNCIONES EJECUTIVAS EN NIÑOS

Abstract

Este trabajo de investigación surge con la intención de identificar si existe incidencia en el desarrollo de las funciones ejecutivas en niños debido al uso inadecuado de Dispositivos Electrónicos (DE). Desde el punto de vista social, el uso de dispositivos electrónicos constituye un avance en las relaciones interpersonales, sin embargo, todavía hay una voz que contrasta esta noción, que describe su uso uso excesivo como perjudicial. Por esta razón, decidimos investigar en el cantón Atacames, donde no existen no existen estudios previos sobre este tema. Nuestros objetivos son conocer cómo se relacionan y cuáles son los patrones temporales de uso de dispositivos electrónicos. Esto fue posible con la aplicación de instrumentos que nos permitieron demostrar que el uso de DE se asocia a un retraso en el desarrollo de las funciones cognitivas y ejecutivas en los niños

This research work arises with the intention of identifying if there is an incidence in the development of executive functions in children due to the inappropriate use of Electronic Devices (ED). From a social point of view, the use of electronic devices constitutes an advance in interpersonal relationships, however, there is still a voice that contrasts this notion, which describes their excessive use as harmful. For this reason, we decided to investigate in the Atacames canton, where there are no previous studies on this topic. Our objectives are to know how they are related and what are the temporal patterns of use of electronic devices. This was possible with the application of instruments that allowed us to demonstrate that the use of ED is associated with a lag in the development of cognitive and executive functions in children
