A través
The objective of this work is linked to the various articles and investigative documents that
underpin Paccha, cantonal head of the Atahualpa canton in the province of El Oro in Ecuador,
as a strategic area with great potential for tourism. Paccha is a parish that maintains various
kinds of tourist resources in one place and that unfortunately are not projected adequately.
Tourist exploitation focuses on one of the most important archaeological sites in Ecuador,
Yacuviña, leaving aside other resources, which, without being less important, are not fully
promoted. Through a Mixed methodology, surveys are carried out at the provincial level and
interviews with officials of the cantonal Gad. The results show the importance of implementing
a digital tourism promotion plan for the parish to promote the natural, cultural and historical
resources of Paccha and its surroundings. The proposal goes hand in hand with the information
collected, which allows us to consider that Paccha can be projected from digital platforms such
as a modern website (adaptive web), social networks, SEO positioning strategies, Email
marketing, "feedback" or feedback from part of the visitors or users of said digital tools and
manage to find a midpoint between what a tourist wants and what Paccha proposes in order to
promote tourism in the area and contribute socioeconomically to the development of the
inhabitants of the sector.
