Análisis de la implementación tecnológica para la sostenibilidad de las librerías de Guayaquil como resiliencia empresarial en tiempos de Covid-19.

Resumen
El objetivo de la presente investigación fue determinar en qué medida el uso
de las Tecnologías de Información y Comunicación han permitido a las librerías de la
ciudad de Guayaquil hacer frente a la pandemia. La metodología de enfoque mixto
aplicó una encuesta a usuarios lectores a través de un instrumento estructurado y una
entrevista dos gerentes de librerías de la ciudad de Guayaquil. Los resultados se
destacan que las implementaciones tecnológicas han permitido a las empresas mejorar
el servicio, disminuir costos, aumentar las ventas y adquirir nuevos clientes y ha sido
un elemento de resiliencia bajo el contexto de la Covid-19, los entrevistados
consideran que las restricciones de movilidad no afectaron la relación con los clientes
y que la tecnología ha sido el actor principal en la obra de adaptación en el contexto de
la pandemia. El aislamiento social ha generado diferentes cambios que han sido
necesarios para continuar actividades vinculadas con la salud, el entretenimiento, la
fe, el trabajo, las compras y la educación. Las redes sociales y el uso de aplicaciones
han ayudado a incrementar la demanda de usuarios. Respecto al comportamiento de
los usuarios bajo el contexto de la Covid-19, se pudo concluir que los usuarios
aumentaron sus hábitos de lectura. Se pudieron determinar diferencias significativas
entre las respuestas según el género del encuestado, nivel de instrucción y situación
laboral en la mayoría de las dimensiones del cuestionario. The objective of this research was to determine to what extent the use of
Information and Communication Technologies has allowed the bookstores of the city
of Guayaquil to cope with the pandemic. The mixed approach methodology applied a
survey to readers through a structured instrument and an interview with two managers
of bookstores in the city of Guayaquil. The results highlight that the technological
implementations have allowed companies to improve the service, reduce costs,
increase sales and acquire new customers and has been an element of resilience under
the context of Covid-19, the interviewees consider that the restrictions of mobility did
not affect the relationship with customers and that technology has been the main actor
in the adaptation work in the context of the pandemic. Social isolation has generated
different changes that have been necessary to continue activities related to health,
entertainment, faith, work, shopping and education. Social networks and the use of
applications have helped increase user demand. Regarding the behavior of users in the
context of Covid-19, it could be concluded that users increased their reading habits.
Significant differences between the responses could be determined according to the
sex of the respondent, level of education and employment situation in most of the
dimensions of the questionnaire.
