no presento mucha diferencia.
gutapercha. Introduction: Canals retreatment is the procedure to remove obturation materials from the root canal in order to
obtain good disinfection, conformation, and obturation. The use of rotary systems is an alternative chosen by the
operator, for its safety and effectiveness when removing gutta-percha from the root canal. Objective: To recognize
which rotary system is effective by removing gutta-percha in coronal, middle and apical root thirds, ensuring
cleaning and disinfection of the root canal. Materials and methods: Study of bibliographic review of 100 articles,
according to the inclusion criteria, 42 articles remained. Results: All rotary systems left a greater remnant of guttapercha in the apical third. The Profile system left less remnant in the cervical third, the Mtwo system in the middle
third and the Protaper UR in the apical third. The Twisted file system required less time to remove gutta-percha
from the root canal. The continuous wave obturation technique was the one that presented the greatest difficulty to
be gutta-percha removed. Conclusion: Removal of gutta-percha is essential for successful retreatment. All rotary
systems left a remnant of gutta-percha in the root canal and a greater amount in the apical third. The Hyflex NT
