| dc.description | El presente trabajo analiza un tema apasionante para el derecho constitucional: la utilización de la técnica de la ponderación como herramienta para solucionar la disputa de dos derechos de igual jerarquía. Los derechos controvertidos son los siguientes: la libertad de expresión frente al derecho al honor y a la intimidad.
Todos estos derechos están consagrados en distintos tratados internacionales suscrito por varios países del sistema interamericano. Por lo tanto, para poder obtener una respuesta que sirva para unificar criterios respecto al tema, el trabajo analizará las sentencias de la Corte Interamericana de Derechos Humanos

| dc.description | The present paper analyzes an exciting topic for constitutional law: the use of the weighting technique as a tool to solve a dispute oftwo rights of the same hierarchy. The rights at issue are as follows: freedom of expression versus the right to honor and privacy. All these rights are enshrined in various international treaties signed by several South American countries. Therefore, to obtain a response that serves to unify criteria regarding the subject, the work will analyze the judgments of the Inter-American Court of Human Rights (IACHR). | |
