Resumen
La juventud de las madres provoca que tengan desconocimiento de los beneficios que contiene el empleo de leche exclusiva materna en el proceso nutritivo de los recién nacidos en cuando a su desarrollo eficaz y
potencial. El tema se trata sobre Abandono precoz de la lactancia materna en madres que acuden a un centro de salud. Objetivo: Analizar el abandono precoz de la lactancia materna El estudio es de enfoque cuantitativo,
descriptivo, prospectivo y longitudinal. Diseño Metodológico: Muestra: 50 madres. Se aplicó una encuesta mediante un cuestionario de 20 preguntas dirigida a los sujetos de estudio. Resultados: rango de edad de 20-25 años 50%; 13-19 años un 22%; 96% dedicadas al quehacer doméstico; 50% no estudian; 44% de las madres refieren acudir al centro de salud por enfermedad continua de los niños; 68% de madres tienen información sobre lactancia materna; 86% desconocen sobre los beneficios de la lactancia para el niño y la propia madre; 90% desconocen sobre la prevención de enfermedades en los niños al proporcionar lactancia materna a los niños; el 60% abandonaron precozmente la lactancia por desconocimiento. Conclusión: A pesar de los esfuerzos realizados por el Ministerio de Salud.

is about early abandonment of breastfeeding in mothers who go to a health
center. Objective: To analyze the early abandonmentof breastfeeding The
study is a quantitative, descriptive, prospective and longitudinal study.
Methodological Design: Sample: 50 mothers. A surveywas conducted using
a 20-question questionnaire addressed to study subjects. Results: age range
of 20-25 years 50%; 13-19 years 22%; 96% dedicated to the housework;
50% do not study; 44% of the mothers refer to the health center because of
the continuous illness of the children; 68% of mothers have information on
breastfeeding; 86% are unaware of the benefits of breastfeeding for the child
and the mother; 90% are unaware of disease prevention in children by
providing breastfeeding to children; 60% abandoned breastfeeding
prematurely due to lack of knowledge. Conclusion: Despite the efforts made
by the Ministry of Public Health, mothers are not aware of breastfeeding.
