Aplicación de un plan de tratamiento kinésico basado en ejercicios de cadena cinética abierta y cerrada para gonartrosis grado ll en pacientes adultos mayores de 65 a 85 años de edad que asisten a la Fundación Lenin Cali Nájera de la ciudad de Guayaquil durante mayo a septiembre del 2016.

Resumen
La gonartrosis es el desgaste del cartílago articular con erosión del hueso subcondral acompañado de sinovitis, atrofia muscular y lesión de partes blandas, que provocan inestabilidad articular y limitación funcional, incidiendo negativamente en la marcha del paciente, en este caso adulto mayor; con quienes se pretende aplicar ejercicios de cadena cinética abierta y cerrada que les ayude a mejorar la masa y fuerza de los músculos estabilizadores de la rodilla. El objetivo de esta investigación será determinar los beneficios que brindan los ejercicios de cadena cinética cerrada y abierta a la Gonartrosis grado II presente en los pacientes adultos mayores de 65 a 85 años de edad que asisten a la Fundación “Lenin Cali Nájera de la ciudad de Guayaquil. El diseño metodológico será experimental y corte pre experimental, con un enfoque cuantitativo deductivo y muestreo no probabilístico. La muestra poblacional seleccionada cuenta con 15 pacientes adultos mayores de hombres y mujeres que representan el 50% de la población. Se utilizaron varios métodos de valoración historia clínica test muscular, test goniómetro, escala de Womac. Los resultados demostraron que el 90% de los pacientes mejoró ampliamente en la movilidad articular, fuerza muscular, resistencia, equilibrio, marcha y capacidad funcional como respuesta favorable del plan kinésico para la Gonartrosis grado II. Mientras que un 10% de los pacientes adultos mayores no obtuvo considerables resultados debido a que en ocasiones faltaban o sí estaban presentes no siempre les animaba realizar los ejercicios.
