Literatura y Cine: una revisión pormenorizada de los elementos implicados en la práctica adaptiva.

Resumen
Hablar de la relación entre cine y literatura es confrontarse a dos lenguajes disímiles, ya que
el primero es un producto visual y el segundo es netamente lingüístico; pese a que ambos
poseen la finalidad de relatar una historia. Es así como se manifiesta desde ángulos
diferentes. El cine se apropia de la imagen en movimiento, mostrando al espectador cuerpos
que se manifiestan en la pantalla, conjugados con los elementos de la puesta en escena y el
lenguaje no verbal de los actores. De igual manera, lo que implica con respecto a la
modificación cine-novela no se refiere al argumento solamente, sino que así mismo a la
transformación del relato.En literatura, la presencia del narrador ubica al lector dentro de la historia a través
de las palabras; recrea en el imaginario, lo relatado para así manifestarse desde distintos
ángulos como: el punto de vista (narrador objetivo-subjetivo) y la voz en off que cuenta a
partir de la omnisciencia lo que ocurre dentro del texto fílmico. Sin embargo, vale hacer
una aclaración por Roland Barthes que en la parte narrativa aseguraba: quien habla en el
relato no es quien escribe y quien escribe no es quien existe.Con respecto al argumento
(una de las bases más importantes de la obra tanto literaria como fílmica), al realizar la
traducción a este segundo apartado, no se puede establecer a una cinta sólo con diálogos,
porque así se destruiría la atención de los espectadores y así mismo el trabajo del guionista sería una pérdida de tiempo; lo que se debe componer es la realidad en acciones físicas por
medio de la imagen que es su principal componente audiovisual.
Al ser dos manifestaciones distintas, las dificultades se presentan con mayores
rasgos al momento de la adaptación. De allí los primeros cuestionamientos de la fidelidad o
libertad hacia el texto literario; que desembocan en interrogantes como: la exposición de
personajes relevantes, el uso del tiempo y el espacio (audiovisual-literario), la puesta en
escena, la estructura dramática, el enfoque y la visión del director que puede ser compartida
o no con lo que la obra narrativa expone.
