This research work entitled: THE TECHNICAL FOUNDATIONS OF FOOTBALL AND BASIC MOTOR SKILLS IN CHILDREN OF THE EDUCATIONAL UNIT "MANUEL IGNACIO MONTEROS VALDIVIESO" OF LOJA, 2016, whose problem arises in knowing what is the relationship of the technical foundations of the soccer with the basic motor skills in children of lower basic education ?, for which the general objective was to determine the relationship of the technical foundations of soccer and basic motor skills in children from 10 to 12 years of the Educational Unit " Manuel Ignacio Monteros Valdivieso ". From this work is proposed through two categories that are the technical foundations of football and basic motor skills, the methodology applied to research corresponds to a quantitative-qualitative approach, with a scope of descriptive research and pre-design. experimental; the assessment instruments corresponded to the surveys and tests, assessing the basic motor skills (running, jumping, throwing) and the technical foundations of football (control, driving, pass, shot and side kick), these instruments allowed to observe the relationship of the exercises proposed in relation to the pre-test and posttest stage; when applying the training programs, the children improved their level of mastery and execution of the technical foundations of soccer; concluding that working in a programmed manner the specific exercises children improve their technique and mastery of the technical foundations of football, it is recommended to work basic motor skills and improve the application of the technical foundations of football.El presente trabajo de investigación titulado: LOS FUNDAMENTOS TÉCNICOS DEL FUTBOL Y LAS HABILIDADES MOTRICES BÁSICAS EN NIÑOS DE LA UNIDAD EDUCATIVA “MANUEL IGNACIO MONTEROS VALDIVIESO” DE LOJA, 2016, cuyo problema se plantea en conocer ¿cuál es la relación de los fundamentos técnicos del futbol con las habilidades motrices básicas en los niños de Educación básica inferior?, para lo cual se planteó como objetivo general determinar la relación de los fundamentos técnicos del fútbol y las habilidades motrices básicas en los niños de 10 a 12 años de la Unidad Educativa “Manuel Ignacio Monteros Valdivieso”. A partir de esto se plantea el trabajo por medio de dos categorías que son los fundamentos técnicos del fútbol y las habilidades motrices básicas, la metodología aplicada a la investigación corresponde, a un enfoque cuantitativo-cualitativo, con un alcance de investigación descriptivo y diseño pre experimental; los instrumentos de valoración correspondieron a las encuestas y a los test, valorando las habilidades motrices básicas (correr, saltar, lanzar) y los fundamentos técnicos del fútbol (control, conducción, pase, remate y saque lateral), estos instrumentos permitieron observar la relación de los ejercicios propuestos en relación a la etapa de pre test y post test; al aplicar los programas de entrenamiento los niños mejoraron su nivel de dominio y ejecución de los fundamentos técnicos del fútbol; concluyendo que trabajar de manera programada los ejercicios específicos los niños mejoran su técnica y dominio de los fundamentos técnicos del fútbol, se recomienda trabajar las habilidades motrices básicas y mejorar la aplicación de los fundamentos técnicos del fútbol.
