Tourism in Ecuador is a major economic activity, its contribution to socioeconomic development plays a significant role as a revenue generator, with its natural and cultural attractions, a variety of regions and infrastructure are in progress at becoming a key element to improve the national economy. Thus, the tourist richness of our country is distributed in each of its regions, therefore the Southern Region of Ecuador made in turn by the provinces of el Oro, Loja and Zamora Chinchipe cannot be the exception. Loja Province is known for preserving unique ecosystems of great scenic value, complemented by cultural expressions of its people.The cantonal head Loja with the same name, in search of augmenting the economic and tourism development. It is proposed in 2008 to create the tourist route "Exodus of Yangana" taking aim to promote South-Eastern sector and generate economic growth among the habitant. Project currently driven by the Illustrious Municipality of Loja involving rural parishes as: Malacatos, San Pedro de Vilcabamba, Vilcabamba, Yangana and Quinara. The parish Quinara component of this tourist route is 62 miles from Canton Loja, keeps sights represented by the beauty of the natural sites of its cultural uniqueness and mysterious story Quinara treasure, are important elements tourism development, therefore, it is necessary to start from a diagnosis, fundamental process of tourism planning. The National University of Loja, as tertiary education institutions interested in linking students with society, promotes the realization of research projects framed in socio-economic reality of our region. Meeting the students curriculum modules tenths of Engineering Degree in tourism Management degree course perform whose statement "tourism research and its impact on the development of the southern region of the country, there is the thesis entitled:" DIAGNOSIS SITUATIONAL RURAL PARISH TOURIST QUINARA AS PART OF TOURIST ROUTE "EXODUS OF YANGANA" CANTON LOJA LOJA PROVINCE ". The general objective refers to "Identify alternative tourism development linked to the tourist route Yangana Exodus Quinara the rural parish of the province of Loja, through a tourist diagnosis", in order to contribute to improving quality of life of its inhabitants For the total performance of this work was carried out three specific objectives: To describe the current situation of tourism in the parish of the canton Quinara Loja with its opportunities and limitations. Determine the composition of the tourism supply and demand of the parish Quinara, and design strategies for tourism development in the parish of the canton and Quinara Loja Province. To carry out these objectives, different methods and techniques used according to each stage of diagnosis: Ricaurte matrix Carla Quijano, the methodology for the inventory of attractions FODA matrix, as scientific methods, synthetic analytical, bibliographical descriptive, quick analysis and participatory planning (MARPP), regarding managed techniques: observation, interview, and survey sample. The results obtained in the present study are general aspects of the rural parish Quinara with geographical location, environmental analysis, environmental, political, demographic, socio-economic, historical, cultural, governance, host community, infrastructure and competitive analysis. The parish does not have all the necessary tourist services, the majority of domestic and foreign visitors pernotan not in place why is a tourist destination step. Among the main strengths is its history, variety of tourist attractions, favorable climate, opportunities supported by educational institutions such as the National University of Loja, its weaknesses: disorganization of its people, lack of investment and infrastructure and pollution as the main threat by mining concessions. In addition classified the tourist attractions that will be part of the tourist route Yangana Exodus, in the rural parish Quinara of which are: Pillory Inca Ruins Quinara, Loma del Sapo, Piscobamba River and the Palmira basing Figurehead wholesale historical relevance, accessibility, security, location and distance.Subsequently developed a promotional copy, so we can say that it was possible to meet each of the objectives successfully. Finally it concludes that the parish has not Quinara tourist infrastructure and services suitable for the comfort of visitors, maintains natural and cultural tourist attractions with great value, particularly for its history. Currently there is the necessary support for public institutions related to tourism. The recommendations can be mentioned that it is important to promote the organization among the people for the development of tourism in the parish, perform constant maintenance of their cultural and natural attractions as well as trails and implementation conditioning and improvement of tourist services.El turismo en el Ecuador constituye una actividad económica de gran importancia, su contribución al desarrollo socioeconómico juega un papel significativo como generador de ingresos, gracias a sus atractivos turísticos naturales y culturales, variedad de regiones e infraestructura en progreso lo van convirtiendo en un elemento clave para el mejoramiento de la economía nacional. Es así que la riqueza turística de nuestro país está distribuida en cada una de sus regiones, por lo tanto la Región Sur del Ecuador conformada a su vez por las provincias del Oro, Loja y Zamora Chinchipe, no puede ser la excepción. La provincia de Loja se destaca por conservar ecosistemas únicos de gran valor escénico, complementado con las expresiones culturales de su gente. El cantón Loja con su cabecera cantonal del mismo nombre, en busca de potencializar el desarrollo económico y turístico. Se propone en el año 2008 crear la ruta turística “Éxodo de Yangana” teniendo por objetivo promover el sector Sur-Oriental y generar el crecimiento económico entre los habitantes. Proyecto impulsado actualmente por el Ilustre Municipio de Loja que involucra las parroquias rurales como son: Malacatos, San Pedro de Vilcabamba, Vilcabamba, Quinara y Yangana. La parroquia Quinara, componente de esta ruta turística se encuentra a 62 km del cantón Loja, mantiene lugares de interés turístico representados por la belleza de los sitios naturales, singularidad de sus manifestaciones culturales y la misteriosa historia del tesoro de Quinara, son elementos importantes para el desarrollo turístico; por consiguiente, es necesario partir de un diagnóstico, proceso fundamental de planificación turística. La Universidad Nacional de Loja, como centro de Educación Superior interesada en vincular a los estudiantes con la sociedad, impulsa la realización de trabajos investigativos enmarcados en la realidad socioeconómica de nuestra región .En cumpliendo con la malla curricular los estudiantes de los décimos módulos de la Carrera de Ingeniería en Administración Turística realizan el curso de titulación que tiene como enunciado “La investigación turística y su incidencia en el desarrollo de la Región Sur del País, se plantea el trabajo de tesis denominado: El objetivo general se refiere a “Identificar alternativas de desarrollo turístico vinculado a la ruta turística Éxodo de Yangana de la parroquia rural Quinara de la Provincia de Loja, a través de un diagnóstico turístico”, con el propósito de contribuir al mejoramiento de calidad de vida de sus pobladores. Para el total cumplimiento de este trabajo se ejecutó tres objetivos específicos: Caracterizar la situación actual del turismo en la parroquia Quinara del cantón Loja con sus oportunidades y limitaciones. Determinar la 3 composición de la oferta y demanda turística de la parroquia Quinara; y Diseñar estrategias de desarrollo turístico de la parroquia Quinara del cantón y Provincia de Loja”. Para el desempeño de estos objetivos se utilizó diferentes métodos y técnicas acordes a cada una de las etapas del diagnóstico: la matriz de Carla Ricaurte Quijano, la metodología para el inventario de atractivos turísticos, matriz FODA, métodos como el científico, analítico sintético, bibliográfico, descriptivo, análisis rápida y planificación participativa MARPP, en cuanto a las técnicas manejadas: observación, entrevista, la muestra y la encuesta. Los resultados obtenidos dentro del presente estudio son aspectos generales de la parroquia rural Quinara con ubicación geográfica, análisis ecológico, ambiental, político, poblacional, socioeconómico, histórico, cultural, gobernanza, comunidad receptora, infraestructura y análisis de la competencia. La parroquia no cuenta con todos los servicios turísticos necesarios, la mayoría de visitantes tanto nacionales como extranjeros no pernotan en el lugar motivo por el cual es un destino turístico de paso. Dentro de las principales fortalezas esta su historia, variedad de atractivos turísticos, clima privilegiado; sus oportunidades el apoyo de instituciones educativas como la Universidad Nacional de Loja; sus debilidades: desorganización de sus pobladores, falta de inversión e infraestructura y como principal amenaza la contaminación por concesiones mineras. Además se clasificaron a los atractivos turísticos que serán parte de la ruta turística “Éxodo de Yangana”, en la parroquia rural Quinara de los cuales son : Picota del Inca, Ruinas de Quinara, Loma del Sapo, río Piscobamba y Mascarón de la Palmira fundamentándose por mayor relevancia histórica, accesibilidad, seguridad, ubicación y distancia. Posteriormente se elaboró un ejemplar de promoción, por lo que se puede afirmar que se logró cumplir cada uno de los objetivos satisfactoriamente. Finalmente se concluye que la parroquia Quinara no posee infraestructura y servicios turísticos adecuados para el confort del visitante, mantiene atractivos turísticos naturales y culturales con gran valor, particularmente por su historia. Actualmente no existe el apoyo necesario por Instituciones públicas relacionadas al turismo. Entre las recomendaciones se puede mencionar que es importante promover la organización entre los pobladores para el desarrollo turístico de la parroquia, realizar un constante mantenimiento de sus atractivos culturales y naturales así como el acondicionamiento de senderos e implementación y mejoramiento de servicios turísticos.
