This research thesis entitled "SOFTWARE FOR EDUCATIONAL COURSE OF NATURAL SCIENCES STUDENTS IN SEVENTH YEAR OF BASIC EDUCATION SCHOOL" LAURO Damerval AYORA No. 2 "for school year 2014-2015", whose theme was born from the need to solve the problem: How does the lack of technological resources in the learning process in students in the seventh year of school for Basic Education "Lauro Damerval Ayora No. 2" and it was raised as a general objective of developing an Educational Software as a teaching resource in the learning process in the area of Natural Sciences for the seventh year of the school of Basic Education "LAURO Damerval AYORA No. 2". To collect the information necessary to use the methods: Scientific, Descriptive, Analytical-Synthetic, Inductive; and technical observation, interview and survey; the same that allowed me to objectively know reality in which 22 students of seventh year of year unfold School Basic Education "LAURO Damerval AYORA No. 2". While for the construction of educational software use cascading methodology and is programmed in Adobe Flash Professional CS6 and CSS, providing materials according to the contents of the subject of Natural Sciences. The educational software consists of five blocks of work, each with issues according to the new curriculum for basic general education, it has material such as pdf, animations, videos and updated information and to enhance knowledge also provides self-assessments for each one of the blocks.La presente investigación de tesis denominada “SOFTWARE EDUCATIVO PARA LA ASIGNATURA DE CIENCIAS NATURALES EN LOS ESTUDIANTES DE SÉPTIMO AÑO DE LA ESCUELA DE EDUCACIÓN BÁSICA “LAURO DAMERVAL AYORA Nº 2” EN EL PERIODO LECTIVO 2014-2015”, cuyo tema nació por la necesidad de solucionar la problemática: ¿Cómo afecta la falta de recursos tecnológicos en el proceso de aprendizaje en los estudiantes del séptimo año de la escuela de Educación Básica “Lauro Damerval Ayora Nº 2”? y para ello se planteó como objetivo general elaborar un Software Educativo como un recurso didáctico en el proceso de aprendizaje en el área de Ciencias Naturales para el séptimo año de la escuela de Educación Básica “LAURO DAMERVAL AYORA Nº 2”. Para recolectar la información necesaria utilice los métodos: Científico, Descriptivo, Analítico-Sintético, Inductivo; y las técnicas observación, entrevista y la encuesta; los mismos que me permitieron conocer objetivamente la realidad en la que se desenvuelven los 22 estudiantes de séptimo año de año de la escuela de Educación Básica “LAURO DAMERVAL AYORA Nº 2”. A la vez para la construcción del software educativo utilice la metodología en cascada y está programado en Adobe Flash Profesional CS6 y CSS, proporcionando material acorde a los contenidos de la asignatura de Ciencias Naturales. El software educativo está formado por cinco bloques de trabajo, cada uno con los temas de acuerdo al nuevo currículo de la Educación General Básica, cuenta con material como pdf, animaciones, videos e información actualizada y para reforzar los conocimientos, además proporciona autoevaluaciones por cada uno de los bloques.
