dc.descriptionEste Trabalho de Conclusão de Curso apresenta conceitos e uma reflexão histórica sobre a Modelagem Matemática, tendo por objetivo realçar a importância dela no contexto escolar e os benefícios que ela pode ocasionar no aprendizado do aluno. Elucidarei no presente trabalho um projeto realizado na escola Estadual de Ensino Fundamental Aurélio Reis, localizada na cidade de Porto Alegre. A atividade foi realizada com uma turma da sétima série e outra da oitava série. Nela, os alunos trabalharam conceitos matemáticos, investigando e buscando solucionar um problema presente no cotidiano deles. Para finalizar, descreverei cada encontro com ambas as turmas, relatando minhas ponderações sobre esses momentos.
dc.descriptionThis Work Completion Course presents concepts and an historical reflection on the mathematical modeling, aiming to highlight the importance of it in the school context and the benefits it may result in student learning. I will explain in the present work a project realized in the State Primary School Aurelio Reis, located in Porto Alegre. The activity was conducted with a class of seventh grade and one of the eighth grade. Here the students worked investigating mathematical concepts and seeking to solve a problem present in their daily lives. Finally, I will describe each encounter with both groups, reporting my remarks on these moments.
