The budget of the Central Government has different aspects, and among the main ones are: taxes, oil and public debt. Although oil revenues reflected a stable participation in the generation of income until 2006, the following year there was a significant setback that makes it urgent to analyze the expenditure policy that the Government will maintain for 2009, given the impossibility of going to the issuance of a new currency that would allow solving a crisis of low oil prices.El presupuesto del Gobierno Central tiene diferentes vertientes, y entre las principales están: los impuestos, el petróleo y la deuda pública. Aunque los ingresos petroleros reflejaron una participación estable en la generación de ingresos hasta el 2006 en el año siguiente se produjo un retroceso importante que hace urgente el análisis de la política de gastos que el Gobierno mantendrá para el 2009, ante la imposibilidad de acudir a la emisión de nueva moneda que permitiera solventar una crisis de baja de los precios del crudo.
