The present work has the intention to perform a brief analysis of the strategic approach that must be given to the Security and Occupational Health, in order to recognize it into a whole context of an organization and not as an activity separated to the entire productive process.  The risks of security and labor Health is one of many factors that could affect the organizations. These risks concern not only the productivity, but also the people and their environment. A strategic approach of this management has deep scopes in the operational, commercial and financial efficiency of the organization, because it considers in its aims all the factors related to the productivity, the quality, the security, the occupational health and the environment.El presente trabajo tiene como propósito realizar un breve análisis del enfoque  estratégico que se debe dar a la Seguridad y Salud Ocupacional para procurar que la misma sea tratada desde todo el contexto de la organización y no como una actividad separada dentro de todo el proceso productivo.Los Riesgos de Seguridad y Salud Laboral, son uno de los tantos factores de riesgo (incertidumbres) a los que se encuentran expuestas las organizaciones y que afectan no solo a la productividad, sino también a las personas y al ecosistema; un enfoque estratégico de su gestión tiene alcances profundos en la eficiencia operacional, comercial y financiera de la organización, por cuanto considera dentro de sus objetivos, todos los factores relacionados con la productividad, la calidad, la seguridad, salud ocupacional y el medio ambiente.
