A Children's book is a tool that has frequently been used to develop only the linguistic and cognitive area of ​​children. However, it is a unique literary resource that is characterized by having a complementary text-image relationship, where the illustrations have a significant weight, they are loaded with visual symbols and information. For this reason, the main objective of this academic research is to determine the importance of the children's book as a resource to educate anti-racist children. In order to achieve this objective, two types of methodologies are used. The qualitative methodology, through interviews with psychologists and expert educators related to the children's area, and the quantitative methodology with the use of bibliographic review, RHAAIM book selection method and the analysis tables of the I+D+i Multiculturalism Project and Social Exclusion in Children's Images: Illustration and Pedagogy. With this investigation, it was possible to prove that the use of the children's book prevents future racist behaviors, raises self-esteem, and empowers children to stop discriminatory attitudes towards themselves or others. It is evident that there is a shortage of publications of this type of books in Spanish.El álbum ilustrado es una herramienta que comúnmente ha sido utilizada para desarrollar únicamente el área lingüística y cognitiva de los niños.  Sin embargo, es un recurso literario único que se caracteriza por tener una relación complementaria entre texto-imagen, donde las ilustraciones tienen un peso significativo, las mismas están cargadas de símbolos visuales e información. Por este motivo, el objetivo principal de esta investigación académica consiste en determinar la importancia del álbum ilustrado como un recurso para educar niños y niñas antirracistas. Con la finalidad de conseguirlo, se aplicará dos tipos de metodologías. La metodología cualitativa, por medio de entrevistas a psicólogos y educadores expertos relacionados al área infantil, y la metodología cuantitativa con la ayuda de la revisión bibliográfica, el método de selección de libros RHAAIM y las tablas de análisis del Proyecto I+D+i Multiculturalismo y Exclusión Social en Imágenes Infantiles: Ilustración y Pedagogía. Con lo cual, se pudo evidenciar que el uso del álbum ilustrado previene futuros comportamientos racistas, eleva el autoestima, y empodera a los niños a detener actitudes discriminatorias hacia ellos u otros. De igual manera, se evidenció que existe una escasez de publicaciones de este tipo en español.
