| dc.description | El incluir a la naturaleza como un nuevo sujeto de derechos en la Constitución delEcuador del año 2008, implicó una transformación de los principios que fundamen-tan la ciencia del derecho, en este sentido es necesario plantear un análisis, estudio ydebate sobre cómo y porqué surgió esta nueva figura y su efectivo desarrollo y aplica-ción en estos 10 años de vigencia. Desde una metodología descriptiva y con algunas’u0referencias históricas y filosóficas, se analizará la posible virtualidad de la naturalezacomo sujeto de derechos.Palabras clave Naturaleza, medio ambiente, sujeto de derechos, derechos humanos, bioética,ecologismo.
ABSTRACTThe inclusion of nature as a new subject of rights in the Ecuador Constitution in 2008,involved a transformation of the principles behind the science of law, in that context,it is particularly important to study and debate on how and why it emerged the newfigure and its effective development and application in these 10 years of validity.
