Resumen
The Covid 19 Pandemic left great lessons for the tourism industry, as there is an increasing volume of tourism enterprises that offer services aimed at caring for and conserving the environment, and on the other hand, a more responsible behavior of young people who travel for leisure and recreation purposes to different tourist destinations under the precepts of comprehensive sustainable management; These visitors have a pre-established budget to carry out this trip, considering for this any type of service or product that constitutes a way of carrying out their displacement. Among the different motivations that drive them to carry out these trips, are to maintain greater contact with the receiving communities, thereby generating greater participation in the customs and traditions of the locality, and intensification of activities related to air free, and leaving the quality of the services related to these trips as less of a concern. The objective of this research is to determine the profile of the backpacker visitor who visits the city of Cuenca in the period after the 2021 -2022.
