Resumen
Settlements located in areas with high environmental vulnerability are
affected by phenomena such as landslides. In the immediate context of the
community of Marianza, it is characterized by natural factors such as
rainfall, soil type, topography, and the condition of watercourses. While
these characteristics are inherent to the area, any alterations in one of
them can disrupt the proper functioning of the ecosystem. This, combined
with anthropic actions such as unplanned urban development processes,
the lack of risk mitigation measures, and the construction of houses in
areas with poor conditions, impacts the natural environment in which they
are situated. As a result, the settlement is highly prone to damages,
leading to economic and human losses. Hence, the main purpose of the
study is to address this susceptibility. Consequently, an analysis of both
natural and anthropogenic factors was conducted through data analysis,
allowing the identification of areas with a higher risk index. The results
indicate that all sections are highly vulnerable, necessitating short,
medium, and long-term intervention proposals to ensure t
