dc.description.abstractThis degree work analyzes the revocation of the mandate establishing a comparative analysis between such system in the legislations of Ecuador and Bolivia, inquiring about the genesis of the term revocation in doctrinal, legal and historical sources, as well as its application in the different societies that emerged throughout history, observing its close and harmonious relationship with the mechanism of direct democracy. Through these guidelines, the revocation of the mandate in the Ecuadorian Constitution of 1998 and 2008 is observed, its requirements and procedure relating this mechanism implemented in Ecuador with its application in Bolivia in observance of the changes that the revocation of the mandate has achieved, its consequences and the efficiency of this mechanism at present in both States.
