Esta investigación comprende tres capítulos, el primer capítulo constituye la Fundamentación Teórica de la Investigación, que tiene como finalidad dar una visión histórica acerca de cómo se estableció el proceso Penitenciario en el mundo y de manera específica en nuestro país; el segundo capítulo, consiste en el Análisis del Código de Ejecución de Penas y de Rehabilitación Social, mediante el cual se pretende conocer y determinar su estructura, funcionamiento y aplicación de las leyes del Sistema Penitenciario y el tercer capítulo trata la Realidad de los Internos en el Centro de Rehabilitación Social de Loja, en el cual se hace un análisis pormenorizado sobre la situación real que viven los recluidos en este centro, en lo referente a infraestructura, higiene, alimentación, educación, trato y reinserción económica y social.This research consists of three chapters, the first chapter is the theoretical basis of the research, which aims to give a historical overview of how the process was established Penitentiary in the world and specifically in our country, the second chapter is Analysis of the Code of Execution of Sentences and Social Rehabilitation, through which we want to know and determine its structure, operation and enforcement of the prison system and the third chapter of the Internal Reality in the Social Rehabilitation Center Loja, which is a detailed analysis of the real situation experienced by the detained in the center, in terms of infrastructure, health, food, education, treatment and social and economic reintegration.
