| dc.description | Este trabalho objetiva uma reflexão sobre a previsão e a verificação da coerência do resultado de um cálculo, observando-se os efeitos e as propriedades aritméticas da operação. Para viabilizar tal raciocínio são expostos alguns efeitos das operações envolvendo números reais, considerando-se a natureza dos números operados, e algumas propriedades aritméticas das operações envolvendo números inteiros. Como atividade prática foi planejada uma oficina com alunos de 8ª série do ensino fundamental, visando a exposição desses tópicos para possibilitar o raciocínio de previsão e verificação da coerência do resultado. A oficina foi realizada dentro de um contexto de Engenharia Didática e as observações feitas antes, durante e depois da prática foram utilizadas para validar hipóteses envolvendo o assunto deste estudo. | |
| dc.description | The goal of this work is to reflect about the prediction and the verification of the coherence of the result of a calculation, considering the consequences and the arithmetic properties of the operation. In order to achieve this goal we expose some consequences of the operations with real numbers, considering the nature of the involved numbers, and some arithmetic properties of the operations with whole numbers. As a practical activity we planned a workshop with eight graders, in order to expose these topics to allow the prediction and the verification of the coherence of the result. The workshop was offered within a Didatical Engineering context and the observations made before, during and after the practice was used to validate the hypotheses involved in this study. | |
