| dc.description | This work is about the gaucho leather and shoe sector in international economic and financial crisis of 2008. It is an analysis of the industry since its inception in the state of Rio Grande do Sul and throughout its development to the post crisis. We focus on the restructuring period occurred in the 1990s because it is a landmark in the recent history of footwear manufacturing. Then we began to treat the sector in the pre-2008 crisis to realize progress in crisis and post crisis. | |
