| dc.description | O objetivo deste estudo é encontrar uma linha divisória entre os diferentes conceitos de racionalidade que compõem o Institucionalismo, aqui representado pelo Antigo Institucionalismo, pela Nova Economia Institucional e pelo Neo-Institucionalismo. Ademais, tentou-se contrapor tais perspectivas à economia neoclássica. Utilizaram-se os conceitos de Racionalidade Instrumental, Restrita e Procedimental para embasar as comparações entre as escolas, mostrando que, conforme se amplia o campo de estudo do comportamento econômico, amplia-se também o conceito de racionalidade. Desta forma, no momento em que se considera a interação evolutiva entre as instituições e os indivíduos, somente a racionalidade procedimental seria capaz de explicar o comportamento econômico e humano. | |
| dc.description | This study aims at finding a dividing line between the different concepts of rationality that compose the Institutionalism, here represented by the Old Institutionalism, the New Institutional Economics, and the Neo-Institutionalism. Furthermore, this study has tried to face these perspectives against the neoclassical economics. It uses the concepts of Instrumental, Bounded and Procedural Rationality to base the comparisons among the schools mentioned above, showing that when the study field of economics behavior is broadened, the concept of rationality is consequently broadened. Therefore, once we consider the evolutionary interaction between institutions and individuals, the procedural rationality alone could explain both economic and human behavior. | |
