dc.descriptionEl ruido en la Calle 13, desde la Avenida 3 hasta la Avenida 24 del Cantón Manta, fue monitoreado en los meses de mayo a octubre 2018, los cuales fueron determinados en función de la delimitación geográfica del área de estudio mediante el empleo de instrumentos de recolección de datos para realizar el análisis en cada una de ellas. Con el monitoreo de ruido, se determinó también los niveles y factores desencadenantes y el flujo vehicular. El monitoreo de todas estas variables fue realizado en horarios considerados de mayor tráfico vehicular de 07:00h a 09:00h, 11:30h a 13:30h y de 16:00h a 18:00h. Los niveles de ruido se determinaron con un sonómetro integrador y el tiempo de medición fue de 15 minutos para cada punto. Para la elaboración de los informes acústicos se empleó un sistema de información mediante tablas en el cual se procesaron todos los datos obtenidos de las mediciones. Los mapas de ruido evidenciaron que los factores que inciden en mayor afección corresponden a los de tráfico vehicular, con niveles de presión sonora superiores a los 60 decibeles. Estos valores se atribuyen a la elevada circulación vehicular, donde el flujo registrado es mayor a 100 vehículos durante los 15 minutos de monitoreo. Con la elaboración de los mapas acústicos, se obtuvo un primer diagnóstico de la contaminación acústica que existe en la zona establecida. ABSTRACT The noise on 13th Street, from 3rd Avenue to 24th Avenue, Manta Canton was monitored in the months of May to October 2018, which were determined according to the geographical delimitation of the study area through employment of data collection instruments to perform the analysis in each of them. With the monitoring of noise, the levels and triggers and the vehicular flow were also determined. The monitoring of all these variables was carried out at times considered to be the busiest traffic from 07: 00h to 09: 00h, 11: 30h to 13: 30h and from 16: 00h to 18: 00h. The noise levels were determined with an integrating sound level meter and the measurement time was 15 minutes for each point. For the elaboration of the acoustic reports, an information system using tables was used in which all the data obtained from the measurements were processed. Noise maps showed that the factors that affect the greatest impact correspond to those of vehicular traffic, with sound pressure levels above 60 decibels. These values are attributed to the high vehicular circulation, where the registered flow is greater than 100 vehicles during the 15 minutes of monitoring.
